How we ship wholesale orders

Food & Drinks Suppliers Sp. z o.o. arranges international shipment of wholesale orders from Poznań, Poland. Transport is booked per order rather than run on a fixed schedule, so the mode, routing and carrier are chosen against the consignment, the destination and the terms of sale you agree with us.

Road freight is the usual choice within Europe and to neighbouring regions, as groupage for part-loads or full trailer loads at volume. Ocean freight is used for intercontinental shipments, either as LCL for smaller consignments or FCL for full containers. Air freight is available where speed matters, subject to the restrictions that apply to aerosols and alcohol-based products.

Incoterms are agreed per order, using the Incoterms 2020 edition. The rule and named place you choose determine who arranges carriage, who bears risk at each stage and who clears the goods, so we settle this in writing before an order is confirmed rather than afterwards.

Documentation

A consignment travels with a commercial invoice, a packing list and the transport document for the mode used — CMR for road, bill of lading for ocean, or an air waybill for air. Certificates of origin, free sale or analysis are destination-specific; tell us what your market requires at quotation stage, because some take time to arrange.

Customs classification and any import duties or taxes in the destination country are the importer's responsibility. Goods are dispatched once payment has cleared; the full conditions are set out on our Trading Terms page.
